How do you envision the city's skyline in a decade?

I see the skyline denser, but really only along the peachtree spine. I hope to see some more infill in the area between downtown and midtown.

Why? Aesthetics? I hope that the economy and housing market stabilizes, and that the city grows in a way that makes sense regardless of the skyline.

10 years isn't a long time. I wouldn't expect a lot. Maybe a few small gaps filled in in Midtown and along Peachtree in Buckhead.
20 years is another story.. Time will tell.

I notice a really nice view on Marta East line between GA State and King Memorial, You can see all of Downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead buildings as one skyline.

yes pictures plz.

I don't see much happening in 10 years in terms of significant projects but in terms of what I would like to see, I want the area around the BoA tower to get some additional density and more ground vendors. Liven up that area a bit...

Another beautiful view showing Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead is the view from Smyrna/Vinings on the West Paces Ferry bridge over 285....breathtaking. Here is a pic I posted in the Atlanta Photo thread and was stitched together at the exact point to form one.

Very nice! Either end of the Peachtree corridor would make for an impressive skyline in most cities.
