You are mad. You could be at the beach, hiking, shopping or traveling but you are here in the Atlanta forum searching for articles about Atlanta out of the 100s of cities on this site. We must be doing something right

The HIV rate is concentrated in the poor black communities. If you avoid having sex with those people, you have nothing to worry about.

Actually, I'm on the beach with my dog, online and drinking an iced mocha. I got a private message about this thread from someone who is no longer on this board. They said I'd find it amusing due to the characters involved.

You sir, are such a character. Very strange.

Wow. Way to steer a thread off course. Why bring up HIV rates? You are very peculiar.

The thread is about the emptiest cities in America and the fastest growing cities in America. Atlanta is in a paradox and listed on both lists, which to me sounds like this whole Forbes ranking is a bunch of rubbish.

I love it. Our mayor would be proud to know that we have people on the beach at 9am on a Sunday in California posting about our beautiful city

The title of the thread is fastest growing city. I don't see nothing on the thread title that says emptiest cities. And everyone knows to ignore back2dc he is misreable

There are multiple city rankings in that Forbes article, not just fastest growing. Follow my link below to the emptiest cities, of which Atlanta is listed.

Whether you agree or disagree with any of the posters on here is irrelevant. You should not just post the positive superlatives without the negatives. That's dishonest.

Atlanta, GA - Joann Muller - Forbes

I think the whole article is rubbish and panders to certain demographics. Cities should not be simultaneously on both the fastest growing and the emptiest.

Current population: 5.4 million
The population of Atlanta is 10% of that number.

That number includes the metro area.

The city of Atlanta shouldn't be allowed to capitalize off the population of areas that are not actually Atlanta.
