Ok, when I lived in Atlanta, I remember a lot of yuppies and a lot of regular folks with ordinary jobs. I don't remember much of a "granola" factor. Maybe only Little Five Points and possibly a little around "Virginia Highland," though I would consider the latter more eclectic. So, where are the "granola" neighborhoods today?

Decatur, Cabbagetown, Grant Park, East Atlanta Village, Castleberry Hill, Old Fourth Ward, Candler Park--we've got more than our fair share of granola, trust me. But nowhere moreso than Decatur. Spend ten minutes on Decatur Metro to get a feeling for the place:

Holy smokes. That many? I thought Decatur was full of nicer, newer townhomes. That's what I saw a few years ago.
I went from North Druid Hills to Dunwoody, so I missed all that "earthy crunchy" action.
