My wife and I will be moving shortly in the next several months (after we sell our house in NJ) to an apartment initially in the Atlanta area, in Roswell, Norcross,Alpharetta or maybe Sandy Springs. We are selling our house in NJ and relocating with work.

We would prefer a furnished apt. - 2 bedroom. We're not looking for an executive suite, but basic furniture. However, we would hope to find such a furnished apt. for month by month lease or 3 month lease if possible, vs. a 6 month or longer lease.

Is anyone familiar with any such complexes? Our price range would be $800 - $1,300 a mth

Thank you

That's not a common situation, at least not among professionally managed complexes.

Usually they will have 1 or 2 corporate style apartments that you can rent that have everything in them.

Seems like your best bet is going to be looking for someone who wants to sublease their apartment and leave their furniture behind, or someone who has a furnished condo and rents it out.

Maybe you would have luck around the Emory area from students who are going home for the summer and subleasing their apartment out....but I don't know if you would want college kid furniture!

Google "Gable corporate housing". We were put up in one of their units when we were transferred to FL, and had no complaints. They are in GA also. The price in FL was high, but when I tried to get an idea of GA rates they wanted too much info, so I stopped after making certain they had furnished units here. They definitely do month by month leases.
