We were going to move to 30067 area, now after researching decided that it may be more beneficial to go to Atlanta. Will be working in Buckhead in Brookhaven area. We have a cash budget of $90,000. Do you think this is possible? We would need a pet friendly place, we have 2 dogs, one 35lbs & other 75lbs. Any ideas of places would be very appreciated.
Thank You

I can't imagine you would find a desirable place at that price range in those areas. I live in Smyrna (30080), even with depressed townhome/condo prices the minimum place that I would consider living in is still priced in the low 100,000's - Buckhead/Brookhaven would typically be more expensive.

Are you saying put up to $90k down, mortgage the rest? Rates are so low, it seems like you would want to take out a loan. Just saying.

You aren't going to find a 2 bedroom condo or townhouse in a desirable part of town for $90k. You might be able to find a 1BR for around $90k in Midtown. There are several dog parks there as well. Buckhead is out of the question for that price.

There are a few properties in the north side of the city for $90,000 or under, but I'm not sure you'd want to live in them. You'll need to go south to hit $90,000. And still, I'm not sure I'd want to live in any of these areas.

Zillow Homes for under $90,000
