Yeah, We got a little off topic. MattCW - If you want to continue this create a thread in the politics forum or something and we can pick up there.

There is no real updates to TSPLOST topic. ARC PLAN2040 is the plan we will use to secure federal funding for the region. PPP's will hopefully help out too.

Where did you get that crazy idea from? I said it's fine to support them through programs like food stamps, but not fine to just throw money at them. Even so, your basic income wouldn't just apply to "poor people."

I bet there have been a lot of good points over the past 5 pages of this thread, but I for one, cannot read through the multiquote bonanza. Is it really necessary to pick apart ever single sentence of someone's post?

Sorry if I come across as a jerk, but these posts are like thread pollution.
Would you prefer one giant unreadable block of text then?

This was the posting style and culture when I got here. I actually adopted it from this forum and use it elsewhere now. It's so much easier to know what people are talking about since it's right there rather than having to scroll up and down losing and re-finding your place.

I see no need to carry this any further.

Breaking down / arguing with every sentence in every post does make it hard to follow. The multiquote post has its place, but its cumbersome in every reply.

I often like your points Matt! Sorry for sounding like a forum snob.

How can there be free market competition for, say, a train system in Atlanta?
