From the Fayette Citizen, great detail shot on the sound stage walls going up at Pinewood in Fayetteville. There are FIVE of these monsters under construction right now, with as many as 30 planned once the entire studio complex is finished. SIMPLY AMAZING!

(Click on the letter F below for the full story ... lol)

The future is right around the corner. Foundations for the initial soundstages and workshops were laid recently at Pinewood Atlanta Studios and the first single-piece wall panels were put in place Monday afternoon. The studio property, along with a total of nearly 1,200 acres is expected to be annexed into Fayetteville on Aug. 1 with an effective date of Sept. 1. Photo/Ben Nelms.

Trying to figure out if you are actually asking, or if it's a rhetorical question leading to your post (which I think is cool!).

It was a rhetorical question, meant to draw attention to the size of the construction crew next to the size of the walls.

Nice. I wonder what is the status on all the other movie production developments in Metro Atlanta? IMO that Doraville Station would be perfect for a movie complex

Ahh, yes. Some soundstages are freaking massive. Oftentimes, productions also setup in large warehouses and such, as it's much cheaper than renting a formal soundstage. I've been on a few productions that leased their own full warehouses and turned them into production space. You also have things like Family Feud which has overtaken the exhibit side of the Civic Center for their production.
