It looks like those guys are wearing boxing gear or WWII fighter helmets on their heads.

Although they don't otherwise look like boxers or fighter pilots.

The alleged vandalism is unfortunate, but what was it about this event that would warrant security getting involved?

I think the point was, it happened a month ago and MARTA security just found out. Don't they have cameras in those tunnels? And the graffiti is unforgivable, IMO.

News yesterday said neither. They were outside of the fare area.

OH! And did anybody else notice that at the end of the story, the reporter says, "Reporting live from the Buckhead METRO station ..."

It has held in the public tunnel under Peachtree Street, that happens to connect to the Buckhead station. It is MARTA property, but was not inside the fare area.

Good, I hope MARTA slaps these people with a huge fine. This kind of behavior is simply unacceptable. Unlike talking, or cellphones which are simply annoying, this flat out blocked a traffic path. I sure hope nobody missed their train due to this.
