Curbed has learned that developer Greystar is seeking zoning changes to 20 individual parcels in Reynoldstown, just south of Little Five Points. Mostly along Moreland Avenue but wrapping around to front parts of Wade Street, Brantley Street and Seaboard Avenue..."

It would do wonders for that block. Its close enough to inman park-reynoldstown station for residents to walk. A lot of new construction has missed this neighborhood.

I agree, I just hope there are sidewalk improvements so that people DO walk. It's definitely close enough to walk, but I'm not sure Moreland is very pedestrian friendly.

I'm sure sidewalk improvements are part of the developers repsonsibility.

Maybe in front of their property, but not to all of the places residents would want to be able to walk to. I'm not saying walking wont be doable, just that its not overly friendly to do so over there until you get to the L5P area.

The residents most likely wouldn't have to use Moreland to get to MARTA since you can enter on the Reynoldstown side. They would in order to get to L5P, though, but people do that all the time without problems.

The Beltline plan for Reynoldstown shows streetscape improvements linking the trail to the Inman Park/Reynoldstown MARTA station, effectively bringing the Beltline within a block or so of this development. Maybe they'll do it right and it'll rub off the Edgewood Retail District? Surely the developers can get behind developing some of those parking lots as additional retail; more money for them and a better pedestrian experience for us.

I'd be all for it if the underground parking lot was larger. Since it's not, and since people have to drive in from miles away (including myself), it won't be feasible.
