I wonder if that gun shop on Peachtree will eventually be pushed out as well. Definitely doesn't fit in with the new neighbors.

BTW, check out the road intersection in that picture included in the link. So many roads in that area are in dire need of resurfacing.

Money for streetcars and football stadiums but nothing to pave the streets or build a playground.

By the way, it would be sad to lose Chuck's Firearms. They've been an Atlanta institution for decades. If you're in the market for a high end shotgun Chuck's is the place to go.

When I first moved to Atlanta about a decade ago, the roads were in much better condition. Now many areas are starting to remind me of Pittsburgh's roads, which are notorious for potholes.

One thing I like about living in Cobb is how the county does a good job maintaining the roads. Wonder if that will change with all the money going to the Braves' stadium.

Funny how things change. While Cobb is funding the Braves with hundreds of millions of tax dollars, Atlanta is hiring police officers and working on an infrastructure package to repave the streets, fix sidewalks and streetlights among other improvements.

You think the roads bad here? Try living in NJ after a cold winter with lots of snow. HA! I saw a bus knock over after falling in a pothole. HA!

Talking about the roads in and around the development isn't hijacking.

That area could stand some upgrading but one and two story retail is great.

And they really need to work on keeping unique, high-end businesses like Chuck's and the Fish Hawk. They are part of what makes the city special.
