I've been spoiled by Freebirds in Texas. It was fast, they handled a dozen people like it was nothing but it just wasn't worth the money.
Agree that Moe's is awful.
Chipotle however I always get the chicken so I cannot speak for the steak there, however the chicken is always good.
I get the cilantro lime rice with black beans, chicken, pico, sour creme, cheese and of course the GUACAMOLE, which is off the chain!!!!! I live for it. They always say "that'll be extra" and im like "throwing money at them i dont care, gimme guac!!!!

Virtually everywhere in the country one can get chipotle. hThey're hugely successful and are growing at break neck speed.

EVERYONE loves chipotle. I mean EVERYONE. It's been watered down enough that the masses can enjoy. while not authentic Mexican...it's fresh, it's fast, it's affordable and it's good. Hispanic or not.
The 3 that are near me are filled with mostly white ppl. Not that that matters, but someone mentioned they seem to be popular with the "hispanic crowd" lol. ohhhhhkay
Atlanta has had Chipotle for years - the same as anywhere else. They just aren't everywhere here. It's a big deal for them to be expanding south of I-20. Most places don't.

Personally I like Chipotle. I like it better than Moe's, but not as much as Bell Street.

Your post makes no sense. Chipotle has been in Atlanta just as long as it has been in Miami. They pretty much were just in Denver and Colorado up until the early 2000's. And Moes was started here so let's not go there with the who had the build a burrito spots first.

I think what you get with Moe's is value for the money. Chipotle is just better quality.

It's okay but I really don't like their steak....way too chewy. They need to open up a Qdoba, which has better tasting steak and chicken than Chipotle.

Anyway, Taqueria La Oaxaquena is much better than both and is the one place that I prefer.

There used to be a Qdoba on Ponce across from what is now Ponce City Market. Very sad they closed. Definitely my favorite burrito place. Willy's is #2 for me, or #1 since Qdoba isn't around. Chipotle is fine. Moe's is okay.

Really, I just freakin' love burritos, so it doesn't really matter.

I am not the biggest fan of Chipolte's food, but I must say they cook some damn fine rice. The combo of lime and cilantro (I think) mixed in really works.

I find Moe's and Willy's to be very similar. I would not be surprised to find they were owned by the same corporation; however, I have noticed that many people like one and hate the other.

Willy's food tastes like they use canned beans while Moe's does not. I don't have a favorite dish at Willy's, but I like The Close Talker salad at Moe's. Also, Moe's always has tomatillo salsa which is a requirement for me.

That's odd. I find them quite different. Moe's chicken is essentially just grilled chicken. Willy's has two types, Adobe (spicy) and Sinola (orange juice and garlic). Moe's steak is just grilled steak. Willy's is marinated with cilantro and garlic. Same kinds of things for pork and tofu.

Willy's corporate address is in Underwood Hills, while Moe's corporate address is up in Sandy Springs. While both started in Atlanta, Moe's is all over the entire eastern half of the country, while Willy's is currently only in Atlanta Metro and Athens. I highly doubt they are the same corporation.
