Sprouts produce is far superior to Publix, and less expensive. The bulk items are similarly great values. In general the Sprouts brand items are quality too. The Bakery items less so.

If this is the location, it would be extremely awkward and an unusual choice.

The location is good. The church was once a place to votein elections before if not still now. It think Whole Foods would be good competition for Publix which is the nearest grocery store. Whole Foods prices are higher so a lot of its success will depend on how tightly stretched the budgets are in that area.

It is one thing to pay for the appearance of being relatively affluent, but another altogether to actually live it.
Not impatient. The arrival of whole foods was announced to members of the church back in December. After the initial announcement we haven't heard anything at all. That's all I was saying. I would be more than happy to wait for WF to purchase and develop the property. Though now it seems like it may not be WF. We shall see.

Default Whole Foods?

There are zoning notice signs in front of the church now. Zoning meeting set for November. Does anyone know if proposed plans have been made available to the public?

Just attended a Smyrna city meeting for my Ward, and was told that the grocery store will not happen. new plan is to develop hi-end condos, prices starting at $700+ and up. Fuqua is no longer part of the project.

There still seems to be an assumption that Jonquil Place will be getting a Publix. Would be nice to make that an organic grocery option, given the area already has two Publix on South Cobb. The fear is that the location at Benson Poole would relocate.
