Ill Subscribe, I have been here since November and have met a few business associates but have not met anyone that we have hing out with socially yet. Being self employed I feel its even tougher. I found my business networking group on meetup but nothing socially.

My wife and I used a couple of web sites to meet people, and we also went to subject-specific weekly or monthly get-togethers at restaurants and such that we learned about online or via friends we'd met online.

The church idea is fabulous. Find a medium sized one: big enough to have different programs, small enough to really meet people. I would love to invite you to our "local fellowship of believers".
