Looking to buy in Midtown/Downtown/Old Fourth Ward Areas (HOA fees, condo)

Hi all,

I am looking to buy a condo in Midtown or its adjacent areas, but am having some difficulty locating current reviews of the buildings I am looking to purchase. The ones that primarily spark my interest are:

1280 West (Midtown)
Park Central (Midtown)
Museum Tower (Downtown)
Central City (Old Fourth Ward)

Is anyone a resident in any of these locations, or could you point me to any reviews that are from within the last year or so? Most of the reviews I have seen of these have been at least two years old, and I have been told that things can change quickly.

If anyone has any recommendations for other places, I would also love to hear those.

I am looking primarily for a condo, high rise style would be preferred but I could live with a mid rise as well. My upper budget is $200k, but I am more comfortable around $170k-175k. HOA fees and taxes could make a big difference, so I am certainly willing to consider something with a higher price range if those costs are on the lower side. I am a single, male professional with no children and am looking for a place with great amenities in a good location. Transit access is not as importance since I own a car and will be living by myself. I work south of the city with a current 40 minute commute, and I would like to keep it there or less if possible.
