When Channel 2 Action News reporter Dave Huddleston started investigating metro Atlanta intersections with the most accidents, he expected most of the crash magnets would be inside the city of Atlanta.

But only one intersection patrolled by Atlanta police made the top 10 list.

Coming in at No. 10, the corner of Piedmont Avenue and Monroe Drive. There were 12 accidents in one month at the location.

The Channel 2 Action News data team analyzed accidents from the month of July in the largest cities and counties in metro Atlanta. It focused on surface streets and found 615 different intersections that average two accidents a week or more..."

I can tell that #4 is false data. Cobb Place Blvd is a looping road and has 2 intersections on Barrett Pkwy.

Just in my daily life:

1. Glenridge Dr @ Roswell Rd- bad visibility all around, and if a right-turning car fails to yield there, carnage ensues.
2. Glenridge Connector merging into 400 northbound, at the same time as cars flying on 400 are merging into the right lane to get on 285. Depending on the time of day, it's a super dangerous spot.
3. 285 curved ramp exit onto 400 south, and then trying to get over quickly across the highway to the Glenridge exit, in just 100 meters. Cars flying in every lane like bullets. If you miss your exit, next one's not until Lenox.

I dunno, just nearly been killed multiple times on each. All of those are in the plans to be re-designed soon, thankfully.

I would add the ramp from 285 East onto 400 North. You have to merge into the left lane and people are flying by and many do not move over to allow for merging traffic. I always say a little prayer right before merging onto 400 that I won't get smashed.
