According to police, a resident identified as 23 year-old Derico Clark, was handling a gun inside his apartment when he accidentally pulled the trigger and shot himself in the hand.

The bullet continued on and struck a 21 year-old woman in the leg. The bullet then traveled through the wall and into a neighboring apartment where it struck the infant in the back.

Sounds like another idiot who doesn't know how to properly handle a firearm.

Wow. Might as well blame all responsible drivers for anyone who causes a car accident. It's the same lack of logic.

It is far from the same logic. Cars are not built with the sole purpose of causing injury and death. Guns are.

How is that different from lumping millions of responsible automobile owners in with the few crazies and idiots that we hear about in the news?

Your "guns are intended to cause harm" smokescreen doesn't change the nonsensical conclusion being made.

Besides, guns are often used for other purposes. Most of my gun owning friends use them for target shooting and as an emergency use only tool in their home. Killing and injuring another is not a primary reason for owning a weapon for those people, so it is hardly the "sole purpose" of those devices. Take your irrational rhetoric elsewhere, please.
