First, it ain't gonna happen, and second, even if it did, it would be a greater, immediate disaster for the country than anything Trump is likely to do. Since it's not going to actually succeed, what any effort to overturn the election result will accomplish is to turn off far more people than it persuades.

Raise your voice, organize, absolutely -- but turn that energy to more productive work within our existing democratic institutions. Figure out why so many people who almost certainly agree with your position didn't bother to vote and work to get them engaged in our democracy.
Good comments.

I'll do that when you tell us why you know we've "been played."

Go home. You got played by Trump. He doesn't represent what you think. He just got you whipped up to use your vote.
There were zero protests that I'm aware of when Obama won in 2008/2012 and if Hillary would have won, I'd be really upset, but you wouldn't see any of us acting like spoiled little children out in the city streets.

Regarding the popular vote vs. electoral vote, that's like saying that the Falcons gained more yardage, but scored less points in the game, therefore we demand that the Falcons be declared the winner. Sorry, but you lost fair and square. Again, get over it and try to make something positive out of this. You never know, Trump may surprise you.

Running around blocking traffic, destroying property and throwing tantrums is not going to change the outcome. It only confirms why we voted for Trump.

Obama never had unfavorability ratings as high as Trump's are. It is no surprise the protests were smaller.

What is all this business about being "played by Trump"? Who held a gun to his supporters' heads? I'm assuming that the voters still possess free will when making such decisions. And don't bother responding with the typical smug condescension and contempt for Trump and his supporters. It's juvenile, as juvenile as the subhominids out there protesting right now.

How can a president THAT HAS NOT YET SERVED have ratings...at all? How is this anything other than being mad that their candidate didn't get picked?

RealClearPolitics - Election Other - Trump: Favorable/Unfavorable

Even before he was elected his unfavorable ratings were still around 60%. Obama was around 30% when he was elected and stayed mostly in the 40% unfavorable range.

The is no historical example of a president being this disliked upon election. I am willing to give him a chance as are many Americans, but he has an uphill battle.
