Teams were 94-0 going into the 4th Q with that lead. It's the biggest choke job in NFL playoff history. So by default, it's one of the biggest choke jobs in sports. Those are the facts. It's rough man. Heartbreaking

I'm not mad, I'm disappointed. We were truly the better team this year and we couldn't get just 1 stop or score at the right moments. This was our game to lose and now Tom Brady gets credit for something he doesn't deserve. Being down by over 20 points in the Superbowl is not an accomplishment. What the Patriots showed this game is that they are a really flawed team that doesn't face any real competition

Nah Texas Rangers where up 3-1 against the St. Louis Cardinals in the world series by the 6 game of world series... in that game they was up 7-4 by the eight ending... they ended up losing that game and series somehow.

Golden state 72+ record breaking wins season, was up 3-1 in finals and they let Cavs win the series.

Panthers went 15-1 and got blown out at the Superbowl.

Anyways Atlanta has been bad closing games all season The Saints came back 19 points in the 4th also. But usually Atlanta be so far ahead it was to much to overcome. I expect the pats to come back a little that why I didn't celebrate early, I was waiting for the Falcons to score one last time.

Atlanta needs to work on closing games, and improving defense.

But It hurts because Atlanta was so close this was Atlanta to win. This isn't like last time Atlanta was in a Superbowl. Atlanta still is one of the best teams in the NFC. I think this team can be dynasty or give a Seattle like run a few year back.

What I gain from this last year I would hope Atlanta could win the Superbowl. now I actually feel with this team it's realistic. I'm upset at this lost but very proud of them this season.

Well, I was referring to them bouncing back as a playoff team. It will be a challenge because there will be another OC coming in for ATL and you just hope Ryan doesn't have to learn another new system. The defense gains another year of experience, so that is a plus.

If ATL got destroyed then like Denver (against Seattle), I would be concerned. Denver bounced back and even though the lost was devastating, leave it behind and get ready for next season.

It was 2nd and 11 (remember Julio's catch for the 1st down and Freeman ran and got tackled for a 1 yard loss). Ryan got sacked then the holding penalty. I agree that they should have ran it again or did short quick passes.

Ha, good move. I told myself I'd do the same thing last night, but then I went and turned on ESPN this morning out of curiosity and heard a sound bite of annoying Trent Dilfer blathering on about Tom Brady. He actually said, "there's something about his soul" that makes him so great. Ugh. TV off.
