Ride with Respect

Yes, that is against the rules:

F. NOISE

2. Conduct that is unreasonably loud or disturbing. Engaging in
indecent, profane, boisterous, unreasonably loud or otherwise
disorderly conduct. This does not mean ordinary conversation at
reasonable volumes.

My question is when is MARTA going to install restrooms for ALL stations? I am paying 1.5% tax to support MARTA can I at least get a simple restroom at a station or something. Did bathrooms have to be cut from the budget I'm sure there were other less important things that could have been cut. Gosh darnite my bladder is about to overflow and I'm about to go in any of these facilities

I have to agree. Why in the heck can't they have working bathrooms in the year 2017?

Most of the stations have restrooms, however they were being abused and people were damaging them. If you look for doors at stations that end in a "M" or "W" those were them (like "52897-M"). They only left them open at stations with a lot of traffic (like Five Points) and the end of the line stations that way they can be more focused on maintaining those.

I think it wise they closed them when they did. But it could be worth testing opening some more back up as ridership picks up. But appreciate that our transit system offers a lot more restrooms than many others.

Currently 13 stations have restrooms open to the public. If people respected taxpayer facilities more, we'd have more access to restrooms.

Isolated incident. Bridge out or no bridge out, it's statistically safer to ride transit than it is to drive.
