Retired military, I have. But I never heard them complain about planes flying in and out of Dobbins ARB.

Not that such a conversation ever came up.

I am okay with non-military landings at Dobbins.

Anyone who can't see that reality is living in a dreamworld, I think.
Great, the "look, there's a squirrel" defense. No offense, but your response doesn't refute anything I said. Nor is it even relevant to the topic.

Okay, fair enough.

In my defense however, I was simply responding to your "We shouldn't do it because it's never been done before" defense.

Laws change all the time. The law simply changed in this case. Before, Dobbins had no commercial flight option. Now, Dobbins has a commercial flight option.

This keeps Dobbins viable, hopefully avoids the pain of the next BRAC process, and brings more outside taxable revenue into Cobb County. This may likely help pack more seats into that new Braves stadium, which I hear has been suffering a bit attendance-wise as of late.

I don't see the downside...other than a few local typical NIMBY malcontents...who lack the big picture worldview & awareness of population increases and necessity of industry expansion.
