I really don’t like for-profit media consolidation. We need different voices, not a bigger megaphone for the voices that are already the loudest. Else you end up with Orwellian stuff like this:

NEWS: After over 30 years of covering Capitol Hill & DC for Cox Radio, I am looking for work.

I had a great run, working with fantastic colleagues at our radio and TV stations. I may not be able to speak, but I can still report. My DM's are open.

I realize the this is already demonstrating the problem, but they all are to blame, when they select which blurbs to share with the public during each newscast.

Trump was absolutely correct accusing so many outlets of reporting Fake News. For 4 years, they've only reported the real and the assumed content to make his administration look bad. The positive efforts were suppressed. His awful personality and limited intelligence were too much for people to get past to want and receive an objective look at the administration's work for the last 4 years.

And now the media continues to focus on the potential rifts and squabbling between lawmakers, not the issues that they are there to solve and get paid to solve.

It's the sports rivalry viewed as entertainment with the highest stakes and most grave consequences.

The media can make people believe anything and incite panic and violence in less than one hour.

It's sad to see Sunday morning news programs that are supposed to be somewhat intellectual in content have veterans like George Stephanopolis saying, 'So and so called you a loudmouth. How do you feel about that?"

Also the John Lewis and Trump rhetoric being covered. Neither of their feelings about one another have anything to do with governing this country and their reporting their comments didn't accomplish anything positive either,

oh what BS. Agnew said the same thing. Why? Because Agnew was corrupt. He resigned in disgrace. So did his boss.

Trump has always been a grifter. Of course he attacks the media.

Sinclair literally forced stations to air propaganda pieces.
