I was on Twitter this afternoon and saw a "wouldn't it be cool" scenario where ATL would be connected to the existing Florida Brightline grid.

I know there are some HSR talks already, but man it would be so awesome to take Brightline to Tampa or Orlando. From there you could take it down as far as Miami. Sure would beat flying and some have proposed "sleeper trains" for this route.

I wouldn't mind falling asleep and waking up in Florida.

What do you think?

Sure it would be nice. It would be better than Amtrak. Brightline is expanding out of Florida as Brightline West is supposed be adding a line between LA and Vegas.

Connecting Atlanta with Orlando, Tampa and Miami/Fort Lauderdale would be incredible and a complete game changer.

Florida>Georgia.

Atlanta's a great city tho. Only other nice city we have is Savannah (most beautiful city in the state).

Yes I'd argue Florida as a State is greater than Texas too despite Texas having a larger population and larger cities.

Living next to a big nice body of water is so nice. The biggest thing missing from Atlanta imo. Not even a river or anything. Loved how Savannah you have the riverwalk then 25 minutes away you got Tybee Island Beach.
