I am looking for a pediatrician in the Atlanta area that will give separate MMR injections to my 2 year old. My pediatrician does not. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Dr. Kute may do it. She is in Alpharetta.

Contact the Georgia chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and ask for the Vaccine Coordinator. They might be able to give you some direction.

I am desperately doing the same search. Dr Kute will do it, but that's on the other side of town from me. Have you found anyone else?

Isn't it simple matter of paying for the separate vaccinations? That's what I did for my son (not here in Atlanta). They're expensive, but my doctor didn't have a problem with administering them.

I'm in Gwinnett county, unfortunately all the suggestions are still so far! I've got a call into an Autism support group...they are going to see what they can come up with.

This shouldn't be so hard!

OP-Why do you want 3 seperate injections for your child? I don't know of any pediatrician's that will do that. I wouldn't want my little ones to get stuck more times than necessary. You said you were checking with an Autism support group. Is it you are afraid of that supposed Autism link? I'm just trying to figure out your reasoning here.

My Dr will administer them but she does not have them. She is VERY vaccine friendly and is in Gwinnett Co. The practice name is "ABC Pediactric Group" in Stn Mtn. I see Dr Blair but both physician's are wonderful. It is more expensive for Dr's to order them separately since they have to order them in lots. So if you're the only one who wants them separate then they have to order large quantities of each for just one patient. Anyway, I am in the process of trying to find the vax separately. My local Target pharm cannot order them. I was going to call other local pharmacies but suspect no one will be able to order them separately. I did read on Dr. Sears's forum a while back that you can order them separately from this place: American Medical Inc (ph#225-924-0247). I haven't called yet. Just spoke to my Dr today about all this since my son will be 1 in 3 mos. I plan to call next week. Good luck. Let me know if you have any luck!
