How bad is Atlanta area for people with allergies?

How Catholic is the Vatican? Atlanta is the world's worst place for allergies. The pollen counts are incredible due to the flowers and trees. Check this out:

The pollen level can be really high here. Check March 2007 (last month). We got up to 5937. A little too high I would say. I didn't realize I had allergies until I moved to Georgia.

Yeah, and note that on the common allergy scale the local news uses to measure it, anything above 120 is considered "extremely high" - so that 5937 should be considered lethal to anyone with allergy issues.

This year for a period of about 5 weeks or so, I literally was taking 6 Benadryl plus other stuff just to BARELY breath. It was insane.

Yes, living here all my life, I can say that my allergies have gotten completely worse. If you suffer from allergies (all kind, not just pollen), then expect to make Allegra a daily ritual.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!!!!
We may have to reconsider this place because our son is some what asmatic.. that's what the doctor has told us, every cold he gets crups and has to use his machine and I have noticed that in areas with tons of trees I feel like fish out of water!
