The greenies among you take note: Saturday March 28th at 8:30pm EST is this years "Earth Hour" where people around the world participate by turning out as many (or all) lights for one hour. Individuals all the way up to whole towns and cities have participated in the past.

I think this year they're actually going to try to calculate how much energy is saved and how much less pollution is put out into the air in that one hour - in the past it was more symbolic.

Not to be a smart ass, but August 10th, at Noon, would seem like a better time to do this.
