I'm looking for a good hair salon to get my hair cut before graduation. I'm having a hard time finding someplace that is price-wise somewhere between great clips and $60/haircut places. Any suggestions around the Druid Hills area?
I would prefer someone that's experienced with thick, wavy hair. Thanks!

^Check out Crimpers. They're on Monroe across from Ansley Mall.

Interesting that you mention Crimpers...my husband randomly decided to try them last week and had great success -- it's a huge improvement over his usual botched forays into our local Great Clips.

I have had good luck with Salon Red on Dekalb St. in Candler Park, just a few minutes from Druid Hills. It's a chic but unpretentious salon with reasonable prices ($30-45 range for women's haircuts, slightly less for men's). They have a location in downtown Decatur as well.

Oh almost forgot...ask for Rabarb or Briggette for Hair...they do a lot other services too, as they're a full service salon, but the two best stylists for hair are Rabarb and Briggette.

I have medium textured, wavy hair but Thomas at Salon O has been able to do some good styles with it.

Salon O - Google Maps

It is in the Tuesday AM Shopping Center across from Whole Foods at Briarcliff and La Vista Rd.
