Default Atlanta to open biotech research center

Instead of the usual negativity and derision on this board how about a change of pace with some positive news?

I'm all for Atlanta doing things to better itself. I'm glad that GA (Atlanta) wants to be in the same sentence as California, Mass, and NC when it comes to the biotech field. I hope they see nothing but success in getting companies to come here.

And if you're looking for education/training in biotech, Gwinnett Technical College just started a Bioscience program and got massive funding for it. Some programs can be completed in 2 quarters and the school has ties to major bioscience corporations.

My husband's company (based in Finland) is opening up new research facilities next month at the Georgia Tech location. They are closing all current North American labs to be housed in Atlanta. Hoping to sell our house in New York so we can move down there before school starts in August. And hoping for a great football team. No real college football up here.
