Can anyone recommend a football league for my 6 year old? He really wants to play this fall, but I can't find a good fit. We live in Smyrna but don't mind traveling a reasonable distance for the right league. Interested in touch or tackle.

Wow...I'm amazed there is no Pop Warner football in Georgia. My son played Pop Warner from the time he was 5 years old and it was a great experience. What a shame there is nothing like that here. Most of the leagues, both flag and tackle have already had their signups. I don't think you'll be able to put him on a league for this fall. They don't have any in the winter, and the only one I know of that has a spring league is I-9, and that is flag football. We signed our boys up for Upward and the closing date for signups with the 18th. So you may just have to wait until next year, sorry.

Thanks for the advice, but at least two Upward flag leagues are still having signups well into August.
