Sadly, it is true. Also, I read from web site. It seems that many other large cities except Dallas increase deathes. I wonder what happen.

Two words: Richard Pennington (chief of police in Atlanta)

The Mayor is buddies with him and he was pretty much hired on that. Some might argue skin color preference but that's a debate best left for touchy race topics. Regardless of whether the guy is purple or turquoise, the fact is he came here from New Orleans - a city that has long since had one of the very worst crime levels in North America. They claim he lowered it, but even then it was HIGH - yet he was brought here for his "talents".

This is why everyone I know who lives in the city limits is going to vote for Clark Howard if he runs (the money advice guy). He has said he's considering a run for Mayor next time around if folks support the idea, and a channel 2 poll showed 85% saying they'd vote for him. I have a feeling the police department will look vastly different once he gets in.
