Please help me out. I am moving from Texas to the greater Atlanta area. Texas is my home but I have traveled years ago as a military wife. I am getting a divorce and need new beginnings. I have experienced major racism for years in Texas and I am sick of it. I will be attending law school in Macon Georgia Fall of 2008. However, I need to obtain employment before moving to Atlanta. Will you suggest any towns near Atlanta and Macon that are open to diversity and less blatant racism? I am a certified teacher and I am looking for a teaching job until I enter law school. I am desperate please reply soon. Thanks! By the way, how far is Athens from Atlanta and Macon?
Help me out! I am looking for a diverse area of all cultures in the Atlanta area. Please email and make some suggestions. Should I look for a traveling book regarding Atlanta? I am moving from Texas to Atlanta like yesterday (smile) I can't wait to leave out of dodge texas (the good ole' west -white oppression).
is perhaps 'less diverse' than the areas north of Atlanta.
