Trying to think of long gone businesses and clubs.

One place I recall, is now the "Galla's Pizza" on PIB.

As a teen, it was a mom & pop market. It was open late; if not 24-hours. The attraction was, the city allowed for after (Dekalb Co.) hours beer sales. Many a time, as the party was going into the AM's, we would send a sober soul to the market to obtain more brew.

There was a pretty scarey fellow there, that worked a late-night grill. Kinda reminded me of something out of Texas Chainsaw! Just a kinda creepy dude...

Any recollections of the city before the invasion, are greatly cherished...

I need to try it.

First, I want to find out what the name of the place was, Galla's took over. It was really old-school Chamblee.
