Does anyone know of any companies (rubber) or websites (besides Careerbuilder and Monster) that have Engineering positions posted? My husband is trying to find some companies to send his resume too, but we aren't having luck using Google. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Natalie

When my sister graduated from GA Tech with a 3.9 GPA and an engineering degree she got tons of offers... from other states. The unfortunate fact is that there are tons of jobs in the Atlanta area, but not Engineering jobs. She didn't want to move so she finally took a job that she was way over-qualified for. Yyour husband might have to keep an open mind as to what kind of job he will take if he wants to be in this area. Good luck and I hope he finds something.

Same w/my wife. Graduated in engineering from Tech and got offers in other states, but not in Atlanta. She wanted a job secured before graduation though, so we just took the out of state job. Seems like 90% of her engineering friends were able to stay in Atlanta if they eeked out the job search to about 3 months after graduation. Engineering jobs are around -- there are a ton of small tech startups in the Norcross to Suwanee area.

Tell him to try Southwire in Carrollton. They recently had a couple of their engineers retire.
