Augusta University will receive $64 million total for education in the 2019 budget.

AU says the money will go toward cybersecurity, undergraduate and graduate studies.

The sub-schools affected by the new money are the College of Science and Mathematics, Cyber Innovation and Training, and the Graduate Medical Education program at the Medical College of Georgia.

The College of Science and Mathematics will be relocated to the Health Sciences campus with the help of $49.4 million. The building will be next to the education commons and the Dental College of Georgia.

Another $4.4 million will be allocated to enhancing operations and administrative personnel at the Cyber Center for Innovation and Training. Two buildings are currently in the works.

AU also will receive $10 million in the budget for the graduate program at MCG. It will help to offset costs brought on by the program.
