No, think high quality. Zaxby's competes with most other fast food chains and although they are pricey, they don't put off an upscale vibe to customers.

PDQ's restaurants are nicely built and pleasing to the eyes and they have a small menu that they do very well. The fresh ingredients is what keeps them doing well, to me. The kitchen is open behind the registers and you can see the cooks (wearing full chef gear, btw) preparing everything.

So it is fast casual instead of fast food. Like McDonald's to Five Guys or Square 1.

The first one opened down the street from my home and they have expanded rapidly since. I don't think the competition in the CSRA will be any more aggressive than it would be down here.

Googled the place. Found one in Columbia. Looks kind of like the chicken tender equivalent to Red Robin.

PDQ's is nothing like a red red robin. Its a typical fast food chicken joint. Closest thing down here i can compare it to is a Zaxbys.

Any ideas on what's going on in the Bi-Lo shopping center on Peach Orchard Rd? They've gutted the old Family Dollar location.

There are several places in South Augusta that I've been curious about including that one. I'm also wondering about the place next to Checkers on Windsor Spring Rd (in the large median) and also next to the Bilo shopping center on Tobacco Rd.
