Greetings to all of you guys
Has been a very long time since Indianapolis race in 2007!
The F1 contest is heating up at a season end; the "iceman" super victory in Abudhabi last week sparked the competition much more and made all the possibilities open!
Austin is gonna host the coming round next week; new track with no experience at all for all contenders!
Currently I don't support any specific F1 driver; however; I strongly enjoy the unexpected extra-ordinary results away from the traditional major powers (Red Bull, McLaren & Ferrari)!
It will be hilarious to see Kobayashi victorious or Hulkenberg making a podium!
What about you? And who's gonna have a seat at Circuit of the Americas next weekend?

P.S. Will we see another American driver after Scott Speed soon?

Turn 11E. Also ran the Formula Run 5k -- and traffic getting there was bad for that!

Looks like they have the reflecting pool/fountain almost complete. The tower looks like something out of the early 60s from this angle.

Even if you are not going, the downtown festival should be fun. Live music and lots of people from out of town.

I'll be there on Saturday and Sunday. I allowed my husband to take a friend with my ticket on Friday. It's my daughter's birthday that day, so I rather spend it with her.

They are supposed to have dedicated Bus lanes, so if you park and take a bus, the traffic shouldn't be too bad.

I was always a Kimi fan until his attitude got in the way.

I'll be hiding in my house with my family -- baking and watching movies (if not drowned out by the heliocopters) just hoping to get through the weekend in one piece. Already making plans to be out of town next year.

Well, no one has taken my offer of a nice clean bedroom, perhaps meals and transportation as close as we can drive...in exchange for a ticket.

I AM hoping to get in on the Cadillac V-Series driving experience on the track Dec 7-9. I'm on the waiting list for any/all of the six sessions in one of their race-inspired vehicles.

There are huge plans ahead for the track and this general area which are far reaching beyond this coming week's race.
I can't really talk about much as I am an employee for COTA but I will say NO ONE here will be dissapointed !!!

Thanks guys for your comments; I'm quite sure it's gonna be a historical interesting race; try to organize your ties and do your best to avoid missing it , otherwise you can satisfy with TV coverage
I'll be right back!
