I think things got a little jumbled...the 160 refers to the number of new residents arriving DAILY (I believe)

And you can really tell it. Think people will have to rent vehicle transport trucks soon and stack cars up to head to town. .

It's growing. There was a little slowdown that we felt here in Hutto, but more houses are being built again and plans to bring in more business....last weeks paper said we've hit 20,000 population here now. Quite a bit of growth for a former one stoplight town.

I grew up in a suburb of Saint Paul. Left in '98 and headed to Phoenix. Spent 11 years there before moving back to Minnesota. Spent 2 years there and seriously could not take it!! LOVE Austin! Have been here 2 years and it's a much better fit for our family.

I believe Austin is more family-friendly even than the Twin Cities, simply because you can actually get outside and DO those things all year round here. The people are far more genuinely friendly, not that Minnesota-nice crap - but I think it's because people are just more laid back and happier here!

As someone who has left Minnesota twice, I say don't look back! Ha!

I have lived in Wisconsin for most of my life. And Minnesota for the last 2 years. Yes, I'll miss the vibrant summer. I'll miss spring. Autumn. But I'm 25 and it's time to see what else there is!
I'll take a change. And no, I meant 160+.

Yep I rambled onto another topic too quickly. I meant 160 new citizens daily. My bad!
