What would you locals suggest for me getting bids and work done for trimming the oaks in our backyard. I think we have a Pecan tree also. Are tree trimming places around these parts bonded?

Any suggestions for a business to use?

Thanks

I've always heard you should not prune oaks after February 15th through end of June to avoid exposure to oak wilt.

I would check with local garden center for recs on reputable company.

Roxie is right. It is too late to trim the oaks at this point, unless something is dangerous. This topic has recently been discussed on C-D, by my recommendation is Adam's Apple tree service.

I started the last thread recently, and we ended up with Adam's Apple as recommended. They did good work at a fair price and we were quite pleased. We had other quotes more than 2x what Adam's Apple charged.
