When I do a search for waterfront properties there are a ton that really arent. Do they think we are going to be tricked??

When entering a listing into the MLS, the waterfront field is a yes/no field. If "yes" is selected, an additional selection must be made for the type of waterfront. This can include lake front, wet weather creek, pond, river - you name it.
The public facing idx searches may not all allow for the selection of the "type "of waterfront, therefore if you are just searching for "Waterfront", the results include an array of properties, many of which are not what most of us would call waterfront since they are not located on a Lake.
