I am looking for a new gynecologist in the central area. One who specialized in gynecology and not obstetrics.

I'd like a recommendation too. Unfortunately, Renaissance Womens Group is too far north for me.
Ideally I'm looking for someone closer to MoPac & 2222 (the lower 78731 area code or south of that.)

Hijack! I'd like one too. One for SUPER high risk pregnancies. One who is very cautious.

I'd like one who is used to a high risk pregnancy too. And who take Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Anyone?

I originally recommended Melanie Collins because I think she's more Gyno. But, when I had a super high risk pregnancy, I used Laura Merritt at Renaissance. They're both great. When I moved to TX, I was 7 months pregnant with twins and I have a heart condition, she came highly recommended and helped me make it 37 weeks (full term for twins). I probably owe my daughters liffe to her. She was in distress and she detected it. Avery was in NICU for only 10 days and now both twins are happy, healthy 20 month olds.

CATXTransplant- Your pregnancy sounds about as exciting as mine. Thanks for the recommendation. I owe my life (and the life of my kids) to God first then my OB.
