Default Replacement window problem

I want to replace the windows in my house, which is a 1950's ranch style. The windows I want to replace are large multiple-pane awning windows with a milled aluminum finish. I didn't expect to find a supplier that still offers these windows, but thought maybe I could find a company that would custom-make them. So far, no luck.

Second option would be to replace them with a regular window, but I want a milled aluminum finish. Nowadays, all I can find is vinyl-clad aluminum, which isn't what I want. I want the once-standard silver finish of milled aluminum to match the style and era of the house, but in an energy-efficient product.

Any help with sources for either option would be much appreciated. I've called Binswanger and Groovy Glass, which seemed like possibilities, but gave up after repeated attempts to get a return call.

I have had several mill finished aluminum insulated glass windows replaced by Texas Redwood Windows and Millwork. Call M.B. Kid at 385-5334 to arrange to have someone come talk to you. The technician who came out to my house to do the measurements and put together the order was Joe Lopez, he also did the installation. They did a very good job.

Just to clarify, my windows are single hung with one vertical sliding sash windows not awning. They are in many homes in the Austin Area, made by Alenco || Alenco in Bryan, TX.

They list 5 different dealers in the Austin area so you might be able to get competitive bids if you like.

I have seen similar windows for sale at Home Depot.

I replaced two 28x70 single hung windows and one arched glass window, all insulated glass with internal divided lites for $985.97.
Included in that cost was the round top arched glass $329 and installation for all of them at $195.
