It poured on a co-worker out west of DS last night, even took off part of their barn roof.

My wife was driving up mopac this morning and got poured on.

I have maybe three drops on my office window here in SW Austin .

any links to a good radar? Well, time to shut down the computer. My computer was hit one year by lightening right in my own home. Fried the line, fried the computer. It was a flash hue of blue, (the whole room had a foggy blue haze for a split second) very loud snap and then the smell of burnt. Hope we get some rain out of this.

Why it is pouring folks..you just don't see it because it's so hot all the rain evaporated 1000 ft above us

I read this post..thunder but no rain and immediately though "Why it's so hot here in Texas that ...."
Couldn't resist.

Last night was strange; we had the sun setting in the west and dark storm clouds with lightning to the southeast. No rain in sight and the clouds were so thick that they killed my satellite signal!

I sat on my deck and watched the show.

Last night after dinner my wife and kids did a rain dance in the front yard. I guess it worked.

Flowerpot, if you want to open this link then add to your "favorites" (the star with a 'plus' sign next to it on the upper left side), you can check the local Austin radar anytime:

It looks like the entire Travis county is going to get a coat of rain.

About 0.40 inches here in South Austin. A fair amount of thunder and lightning. But I love the cooler temperatures - the AC hasn't run for several hours.
