A few years back after a home football game we all walked to a large BBQ spot not far from the stadium, it seemed to be half in/half outside with a large patio. Does this ring a bell?

Does anyone have any other favorite BBQ spots to head after UT home games to keep the party going?

If it's a bbq joint near the stadium, you probably went to Scholz Garten.

Sounds like Scholz or Stubb's. Stubb's is quite a bit farther away (8th and Red River) but may be considered close by your standards.

Does the RRS in Dallas count?

if so, I have sneaking suspicion that the best place for BBQ will be on the field - serving those in burnt orange jerseys after they get routed by Oklahoma.

OU is getting really scary after their opening loss.
