Heres my plan, i plan to attend a CC in texas for 1-2 years then transfer to UT after. This is my question. I completed 9,10, and half of 11th grade in a texas highschool, then had to move back to california against my will. Im completing highschool here in san diego but i want to make sure ill still get in-state tuition in texas. we still own a house and i have a drivers license in texas. any help is great. thanks

UT residency officer, Deana Williams, please call (512) 475-7408

I'd tell her your situation. She answered some questions for me.

The same thing happened to me, only in reverse (CA-TX). You don't really have an issue if you are still licensed in TX and have residence here. And, there are usually loopholes if you went to (most) of high school in TX.
