Hyatt Lost Pines is on 71 near Bastrop. We will be there for a few days in late July. I'll report back to you if you are interested.

We have been to the Hyatt Hill Country Resort in San Antonio every summer for the last three years and just loved it. Right across the road from Sea World and lots for the kids to do.

We go to Barton Creek resort a lot and love the place. In San Antonio we had friends stay at La Canterra Westin by 6 flags and they likes it very much. Also the resort out in Horseshoe Bay by I think the Marriott is nice from what I have heard.

Neddy- La Canterra Westin, had not heard of this one yet, thanks will look into. I was hoping for good feedback on Horseshoe Bay, not real good reviews.
