I am looking for a dermatologist in Austin Texas that specializes in African American skin. Can someone please help?

Wow. No responses. None. Is CD really that racially homogeneous? Anyway.

I don't know of one specifically, but you should maybe just run a google search or call a random dermatologist and see if he/she can't maybe steer you in the right direction.

Good luck!

Austin is only 8% AA, I'm not surprised.

I looked on Soul Citi yesterday, but I didn't find any resources. I asked a colleague because she was looking for a dermatologist who specializes in black skin. She said she has had no luck thus far, so she will continue to go to her dermatologist in Houston. If I hear about any dermatologists in the future, I will let you know.

8% is still a pretty sizable amount of folks who could use a service like this. Maybe someone will see the opportunity and run with it?

True. I have so many friends and family who need such services, but can't find it here, in Austin. This is exactly the type of thing I was talking about in another thread that discussed benefits (or the lack thereof) for the black community in Austin.
