New Zealand wins pavlova war | Stuff.co.nz


I know there has been a lot of people on both sides of the Tasman loosing sleep over this for decades, but I think we finally have a ruling!

You're a Kiwi...so you should know the Rules!

Everyone knows Anyone or Anything Kiwi that becomes famous and has spent some time in Australia is NOW Australian. Its how the rules work

Russell Crowe, Keith Urban, Crowded House, Phar Lap, Sam Neil, I could go on all day. Pavlova is Kiwi, its in Australia, and it is now Famous. So it meets all thie criteria so it is Now Australian

Also these are just Rumors, but I hear Peter Jackson, Flight of the Concords and the All Blacks are thinking of basing themselves in Sydney. So it looks like that list is about to get longer

haha yea I know the rules


This major breaking story is now going international, I wonder if NZ can claim reparations, a few hundred billion should cover it, oh and Aussie dollars its worth more :P

Yes NZ you can claim the pavlova (I hate the pavlova so you can have it) See aussies have claimed Crowded House, Russel Crowe. However us Aussies will let you keep Dave Dobyn (Slice of heaven fame) yes dont say that us Aussies are not generous. Here is a reminder of 100% pure NZ talent.....
