Lets not be silly now. The worlds most overated player wouldn't come even remotely close to making the All Blacks, let alone replace the great Conrad Smith.

apples and oranges

no soccer game ever produces a result of 45 - 10 , besides , would you recognise domination in a soccer game if you saw it , it involves more than picking some guy up and slamming him into the canvas

ireland were awful yesterday but luckily it only got a mention towards the end of the sports news , all eyes are on the important business this evening against croatia in euro 2012 , from the few bits i saw ( dont have sky sports ) , i doubt they ever could have won but injurys were a problem and the coach is becoming very unpopular for his dour negative tactics , our clubs are in flying form in europe this past number of years , many hope that joe schmidt (leinster manager ) will take over though he will probabley go back to new zealand

worlds most overated player , never heard that before about BOD , welsh guy that married charolate church is a bit of a beckham and therefore over rated

im not a huge rugby fan , their is a rugby forum over at boards.ie which draws comment from ireland , wales and england , i check in every so often to try and learn more about the game , its always open , you might like to log on , stir them up by oppening a thread about how BOD aint all that

the english , welsh and irish over there all seem to agree that kiwis are big on equality when it comes to foreign rugby , they dont rate anyone who isnt in a black shirt , BOD is internationally recognised as being a fantastic player , he is of course getting on in years however , two thugs wearing black tried to end his life a number of years ago , he showed guts coming back from that

waits for nzrugby to come along and inform everyone that the irish need to harden up

Well the Irish rugby team need to, yep among the NH countries BOD looks good, but he is no Smith or Umaga.
And yes he is a souk, went on and on about being dropped on his head.
The Irish backs are good ? being hammered six tries to one tends to answer that question.

Don't see bodies slammed in soccer, you have never seen a Aussie vs NZ friendly

BOD could have had his neck broken and he himself actually never complained about it , could have been in a chair for the rest of his life or worse

i couldnt care less if ireland hasnt beaten NZ in a hundred years from now but like any normal person , i wouldnt make light of a near death experience , a welsh forward was sent off and banned for a spear tackle at the last world cup which was in the happeny place compared to what umaga and that other animal pulled , those two thugs should have been banned for a year , of course referes have a different approach when it comes to new zealand , its the only reason you won the last world cup , france were robbed in the final

BOD did not complain? he rang Umaga four times to have a normal Irish whine.
In the end Umaga just told him, don't be a souk.
Bloody hell no wonder you lot like soccer with all the drama lessons they take.
So what you are saying is the Irish are not hard enough to play rugby in NZ.
No wonder we only rate France among the NH countries, hell we would rate Argentina in front of Ireland.

never heard that one about o drischol ringing umaga , id put it in the same file as that urban legend about how the all blacks were poisoned prior to the 1995 world cup final , kiwis have been bitching about that for nearly twenty years yet when someone else questions a grotesquely cynical stunt on live television ( for all to see ) by two goons who are not fit to be called sportsmen , its dismissed as whining

thats a pretty screwed up logic you,ve got there but then kiwis are a pretty amoral bunch , if o drischoll had been left paralysed , would you write it off as sport and shrug your shoulders

ps

interesting how you ignored by comment about craig joubert , you know the south african who worse a number 16 black jersey in last years world cup final

Hell he would not have been the first to be paralysed .
Damn but Ireland lack a bit of dignity, a Hooker saying he was not up to real scrums and the Irish needed to go to Grandmother scrums.
First Hooker I have heard of or played with who had that little pride, a Hooker is a front row forward, at least ours are.
