American network NBC publishes map showing the whole of Australia is on fire. Oops | News.com.au

Had to laugh at this out of context reporting, nothing "technically" inaccurate.

Its also ironic new.com.au is mocking the quality of reporting elsewhere.

Do you have a link about the kids who started the fires? I can't find anything

But I agree they should have to clean up and talk to the deceased relatives. Make it real.

Japan has a longstanding abhorrence for arsonists due to terrible fires when their cities were all made from wood. From what I've read anyone caught starting a fire is shunned and punished for life.

Hence why the US firebombing in WW2 would have been the true Shock and Awe.
