Australia and its people are my favorites. I find them to be friendly , laid back as a whole. Of course you find all personality types in Australia just like elsewhere. If i could get all my family to move , I would love to go and live there. I love You all. I am from the state of Georgia USA. I live in the Southeastern USA

I think Aussies are a great bunch of people.
Although I have never been there (yet)! My mother was born in Brisbane and moved to the U.S. after WWII as a war bride.
I have lost contact with my Aussie relatives but would love to be able to travel there and get reunited with them.

I'd say the people in the U.S. still have a positive view toward Australians.

From a novocastrians point of view (Newcastle, NSW Australia) Sydney is the most politically #$%#ed up city in this country (and the most unfriendly compared to other cities in Australia and in the same state as sydney. Travel 80km north to the central coast and 160km north to Newcastle and you will notice a massive improvement in friendliness and drop in crime). Although it's alright if you are a tourist.

A friend of mine here in town is from Brisbane and his family have to be some of the nicest, most laid-back, down to earth people I have ever met. Truly wonderful people indeed. I've met only a handful of Aussies but thoroughly enjoyed my time around them. Can't wait to actually go to Australia this December!

Speaking in general terms, my opinions of Aussies is that they are friendly, outgoing, and downright nice people. Great people to hang around with and to befriend.

I would love love love to visit Australia someday! I just wish flights weren't so long and expensive.

Hmmmm, wonder how long a plane ride would be from South Georgia, USA to Australia. Wonder what part would be the best to visit first? Wonder why I am wondering 'cause I bet it is expensive!

When I think of Oz, the picture that comes to mind first is friendly, laid-back yet hard working people. The type that are "what you see is what you get" and not a lot of BS trying to be who or what they are not.

I would love to spend some time in Australia.
