Isn't Kentucky supposed to get a race in the near future?

Hopefully next season. I live about 45 miles from the track.

Yesterday’s Pocono was anything but uneventful!

It was a decent race yesterday (bad for me since I didn't give my dvr enough recording time, missed the last 10 laps).

I still think one race at Pocono is enough, since there are other exciting tracks out there with no races.

The last 10 were the only laps worth watching, actually Logano/Harvick was more exciting

To state the obvious NASCAR is not getting rid of a race track that is 1.5 hours from Midtown Manhattan unless a new track is built even closer to the Big Apple

Absolutely true....nor should they. Pocono is a good race. Beats the crap out of Fontana, Chicago, Kansas together! I only wish they still used the Jerico transmissions there.

Either Pocono or Michigan will lose a race next year so Kentucky can have a race. Both tracks IMO are boring. If it wasn't for the double wide restarts, Pocono would have been extremely boring. The fireworks really only happened in the last 10 laps.

Pocono would be much better at 400 laps. I have to give it an edge over Michigan though due to it's uniqueness.

+1 to that. I was thinking the same thing late Sunday.
